Refunds & Returns Policy

At Milica Stojanovic ("we", "us", or "our"), we value your satisfaction with the artwork you purchase. Our Refunds and Returns Policy explains how you can return or seek a refund for items purchased from www.houseofmica.art. Please read this policy carefully to understand the process, conditions, and timeframes for product returns and refunds.

1. Products Covered

This policy applies to physical products, including original paintings and murals purchased from our website. Murals that are custom-made on-site are not eligible for returns once the project is completed.

2. Conditions for Returns

We understand that purchasing art is a personal and meaningful decision. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may be eligible to return the item under the following conditions:

  • Return Period: You must initiate the return within 14 days of receiving the artwork.

  • Item Condition: The artwork must be returned in its original, unused condition, free of any damage or alterations.

  • Original Packaging: The artwork should be returned in the original packaging, or in packaging that provides the same level of protection during transit.

Please note that customized or commissioned works, including murals made on-site, cannot be returned.

3. How to Initiate a Return

To begin the return process, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at hello@houseofmica.art within 14 days of receiving your artwork to request a return. Please include:

    • Your order number

    • The name of the artwork

    • A brief explanation of why you wish to return the item

  2. Approval and Instructions: Once we receive your request, we will respond within 3 business days with return approval and instructions for shipping the artwork back to us.

  3. Shipping the Artwork: You are responsible for returning the artwork to the following address:

    • You must use a trackable shipping service and insure the artwork for its full value during transit. We recommend retaining the shipping receipt for your records.

    • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the return is due to a defect or damage in transit (see Section 4).

4. Damaged or Defective Items

If the artwork arrives damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at hello@houseofmica.art within 7 days of receiving the item. We may ask you to provide photographs or videos showing the damage or defect.

If the claim is valid, we will provide instructions for returning the damaged item at no cost to you, and you will be eligible for one of the following options:

  • Replacement: If the artwork is damaged during delivery and a replacement is available, we will send a new one at no extra cost.

  • Refund: If a replacement is not available, you will receive a full refund, including original shipping costs.

5. Refund Process

Once we receive and inspect your returned artwork, we will notify you of the status of your refund. If the return is approved, we will process your refund as follows:

  • Refund Method: Refunds will be issued to your original payment method.

  • Processing Time: Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Please note that we do not refund any original shipping costs, except in cases of damaged or defective items.

6. Exceptions

The following items are not eligible for return or refund:

  • Custom or Commissioned Artwork: This includes any personalized artwork or murals made on-site.

  • Artwork that has been damaged or altered after delivery (excluding damage that occurred during shipping).

  • Returns initiated after the 14-day period has expired.

7. Return Fees and Costs

  • Customer Responsibility: Return shipping costs, including insurance, are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to damage or a defect.

  • Restocking Fees: We do not charge restocking fees for returns.
